Privacy Policy

180 Prep ("we", "us") operates 180prep.ca, a training platform for admissions exams. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect what we need to run your account and study plan, do not sell your data, and accept access or deletion requests at the email below.

What we collect

Account details. Your email address, display name, and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google; we never see your Google password.

Study activity. Your answers, timing, scores, saved questions, streaks, study plan settings (such as your test date and daily time budget), and essays you submit for feedback. This is the data that powers your analytics and coaching — it exists so the product can work.

Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers; we keep only your subscription status, plan, and country as reported by Stripe.

Technical basics and product activity. Our infrastructure records standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and debugging. When you are signed in, the app sends a presence update about once a minute while it is open and records coarse events such as practice completion, scores, and features used. Reports you choose to send can include your written feedback. We use browser storage for preferences, a device identifier, and a local copy of study progress; signing in can sync that progress to your account.

How we use it

To provide the service: generating your daily sets, scoring your work, tracking progress, and personalizing coaching. Essays and answers you submit for AI feedback are processed by our AI providers solely to produce that feedback for you. To run billing, prevent abuse, and respond when you contact support. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

We use Supabase for database and authentication, Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting and bot protection, and Google only if you choose Google sign-in. Our web fonts are served from 180prep.ca. Our AI providers process the work you submit for AI feedback. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not use your study data for third-party advertising.

Your choices and rights

You can view and update your profile in Settings and download your study-progress backup from the app. To request access, correction, or account deletion, email us at the address below. We will respond to your request and explain any information we must retain for billing, tax, security, or legal reasons.

Data retention and security

We keep your data while your account is active. Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), credentials are hashed, and access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you.

Children

180 Prep is intended for users preparing for graduate and professional admissions exams and is not directed at children under 13.
